PrJSC «NJSC «Nadra Ukrainy» Congratulates Ukrainians on Independence Day

2026-08-24

Today, we celebrate Ukraine’s Independence Day, having commemorated State Flag Day the day before – one of the principal symbols of our country, representing the freedom, unity, and resilience of the Ukrainian people.
These two holidays are deeply connected to the history of Ukrainian statehood. On August 24, 1991, a Ukrainian flag measuring 7 meters and 34 centimeters in length was brought into the chamber of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine. It witnessed the proclamation of Ukraine’s independence and would later become a source of national pride and a historic relic, as well as a symbol of the Ukrainian people’s struggle for freedom.
To mark the 35th anniversary of the proclamation of Ukraine’s independence, the legendary flag has been recreated as part of a charitable initiative by the Come Back Alive Foundation, with the support of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine. All charitable contributions will be directed by the Foundation to the purchase of ground-based robotic systems for the Defense Forces of Ukraine. These systems will be used to evacuate wounded personnel and deliver medicines, food, ammunition, and other essential supplies to the most dangerous areas of the frontline.
Nadra Oleska LLC joined the initiative and received a recreated version of the historic flag. The teams of NJSC «Nadra Ukrainy» and Nadra Oleska LLC unfurled it as a symbol of remembrance, unity, and support for those who are defending Ukraine today.
Independence is not merely a historical event. It is the everyday resilience, hard work, unity, and responsibility of each of us for the future of the state.
We express our sincere gratitude to the defenders of Ukraine for their courage and for giving us the opportunity to live, work, and build our future.
We wish Ukraine victory, peace, reconstruction, recovery, and prosperity, and every Ukrainian family safety, well-being, strength, and faith in the future.
May the blue-and-yellow flag always fly over a free and sovereign Ukraine!
Happy Independence Day of Ukraine!
Glory to Ukraine!
Glory to the heroes!
