On June 28, Ukraine celebrates Constitution Day—a holiday that symbolizes the affirmation of democratic values, the rule of law, human rights and freedoms, and our country’s unwavering commitment to developing and strengthening its independence.

This year, we are marking a special occasion—the 30th anniversary of the adoption of the Constitution of Ukraine, which was officially adopted on June 28, 1996. The Constitution has become a solid foundation for Ukrainian statehood, enshrining the principles of a sovereign, independent, democratic, and law-based state.

Today, in these times of great trials, the provisions of the Constitution take on special significance. They remind us of our responsibility to the state, society, and future generations, and inspire us to unity, mutual support, and joint efforts for the prosperity of Ukraine.
