The event served as a platform to discuss strategic partnership between the governments of Ukraine and the United States, the private sector, and American financial institutions.
On March 24, at the invitation of the U.S.-Ukraine Business Council (USUBC), representatives of PrJSC «NJSC «Nadra Ukrainy» — Chairman of the Board Mr. Viktor Novikov, First Deputy Chairman of the Board Mr. Dmytro Parobok, and Diplomatic Advisor Mr. Valerii Grebeniuk — took part in the Second Industrial Day dedicated to the Ukraine Recovery Investment Fund (URIF). Participants included representatives from the Government of Ukraine, state authorities, the U.S. Embassy, and business communities from both Ukraine and the United States.
During the discussions across three thematic panels — “Innovation-Led Recovery and Development,” “Strategic and Emerging Technologies,” and “Unlocking Ukraine’s Energy and Mineral Potential” — participants addressed a wide range of issues related to strategic investment, improvement of the legal and investment frameworks, and public-private partnerships.
A key theme of the forum was the presentation of project financing mechanisms for 2026. Natural resources are among the sectors identified for the fund’s investment portfolio. Particular attention was paid to project preparation facility, their investment attractiveness, and financing models, including co-investment with international financial institutions, the involvement of private capital, and URIF’s role in reducing investment risks.
“Today, Ukraine offers not just resources, but a strategic partnership in sectors that define the world’s technological future. Collaboration with the URIF and support from the DFC (U.S. International Development Finance Corporation) open new opportunities for Ukrainian businesses to de-risk investments and implement modern extraction technologies. Our common goal is to create conditions where URIF’s investment resources and DFC’s expertise work toward the development of Ukraine’s resource base,” stated Mr. Viktor Novikov, Chairman of the Board of NJSC «Nadra Ukrainy».
